We spend so much of our time fixated on the past or worrying about the future that we forget that one can’t be changed, and the other can only be changed right now. People drown out that voice that calls for change with a voice that looks forward or backward too often.
The result is that we hesitate, or procrastinate. Every second which we worry about how we’re “supposed” to look or feel or move is a precious moment lost to fear. The more we practice that fear, the more now becomes never.
